In spring 2016, we involved our community in an eight-week conversation to seek people’s current views of our services and get their thoughts on our future challenges.

The activity included a widely distributed survey which achieved 1,583 responses online and a further 806 responses from a face-to-face on-street questionnaire. Confidence in our current services and satisfaction with our local hospitals both achieved an overall rating of 8/10.

In terms of services people would like to access more locally, blood testing, outpatient clinics, physiotherapy and elderly care were top of the wish-list. This feedback from members and the public was fed into future plans.
