Managing Equality and Diversity

The Board Executive Director with lead responsibility for equality and diversity is Catherine Hope-MacLellan, the Foundation Trust’s Director of People.  

The current team working with managers, staff, patients, volunteers, governors and other organisations to promote equality and diversity consists of:

  • Lauren Wagner, company secretary and general legal counsel and Rebecca Meads, human resources adviser
  • Jane Davies, patient experience and volunteer manager


Accountability for achieving equality and diversity performance rests with the Foundation Trust’s executive directors and senior managers, and collective accountability with the Foundation Trust’s Divisional Boards and Executive Committee.
