Hampshire Hospitals Charity

Hampshire Hospitals Charity is managed by the Foundation Trust itself and is split into ward and department funds. Much of the income is derived from donations from patients, relatives and friends.

HH Charity (Registered Charity 1060133)

The funds are used to provide items that will benefit both patients and staff as well as to brighten up patient treatment areas and staff facilities.

Most wards and departments have their own funds and the decisions as to how the funds are to be used are made at ward and departmental level, subject to guidelines issued by the Charity Commission. One of these funds is the Winchester Medical Foundation, which was amalgamated with the main charity in 2011.
