Hampshire Hospitals Annual General Meeting

HAVE a look around an interactive exhibition, meet hospital staff and find out more about our services and future plans during the Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Monday 26 June 2017

AGM The event will take place at The Ark, Basingstoke, on Tuesday 18 July and is open to everybody. The exhibition gets underway at 5:30pm, giving visitors the chance to find out more about the work that goes on across the Trust.

Try on a special suit that helps people understand the effects of ageing and dementia, find out more about the equipment used in our hospitals, hear about working for Hampshire Hospitals and meet the Trust’s elected governors.

The AGM presentation, where you can hear about the Trust’s performance in 2016/17, begins at 7:00pm, after which consultant urologist Mr Richard Hindley will host a talk on developments in prostate diagnostics and treatments.

Mr Hindley is one of Hampshire Hospitals leading senior clinicians, with specialist interest in surgical treatments for conditions of the prostate and kidney. He has introduced innovative treatment for localised prostate cancer for which he receives referrals from all over the south of England and is actively involved in teaching and training.

The AGM is held for members of Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the general public. Becoming a member of the Trust is free, open to all over the age of 16 and is a great way to get involved in your local community.

Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust runs Andover War Memorial Hospital, Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital and Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester, serving a population of more than 600,000 people in Hampshire and parts of West Berkshire.
