Following a Paediatric Emergency Medicine placement at Bristol Children’s Hospital as an ST3, Dr Bates developed an interest in this area. In 2013-2014 she completed a year of sub-specialty training, again with Bristol Childrens Hospital leading to registration with the GMC as a Consultant in Emergency Medicine with subspecialty interest in Paediatric Emergency Medicine.
