Qualifications and career

  • 2005 - Qualified with first class honours from Guy's, Kings and St Thomas' School of Medicine, London,
  • Trained as an Orthopaedic Registrar in the Wessex Deanary
  • 2014-15 - Completed a one-year international lower limb arthroplasty and lower limb adult reconstruction fellowship in Perth, Australia
  • 2015 - Qualified as a consultant and appointed as specialist hip fellow at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
  • 2016 - Completed an AO Trauma fellowship at Denver Health Level 1 Trauma Centre, Colorado, USA
  • 2016 - Appointed as substantive Trauma and Orthopaedic consultant at Hampshire Hospitals


Additional information

  • Experienced in complex pelvic and acetabular reconstructive surgery, as well as young adult hip surgery including hip arthroscopy.
  • Regularly involved in the training of junior doctors and orthopaedic registrars
  • Has presented research findings at a variety of both national and international meetings
  • Lectured at both the University of Southampton and at the University of Western Australia.
