Geoff Stranks has been a consultant trauma and orthopaedic surgeon at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital since 1995.
He trained at St GeorgesÂÂÂ’ Hospital; His post graduate training was at Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, Southampton General Hospital and Lord Mayor Treloars Hospital.
Mr Stranks still feels he is a general orthopaedic surgeon but with a special interest in joint replacement especially hip, knee and revision hip surgery. His practise includes MIS hip surgery, hip resurfacing and rapid recovery. He is actively involved in hip replacement research.
In addition to patients from the north Hampshire area, he sees patients from elsewhere in the UK and abroad by referral.
