Andover Minor Injuries Unit

Return to original A to Z listing

When we are open

There is no need to make an appointment, with patients treated in order of priority rather than order of attendance.

The unit is open between 8.30am and 6pm, seven days a week. X-ray facilities are available between 9am and 5pm, Monday to Friday.

The opening hours at Andover’s Minor Injuries Unit have been temporarily reduced to ensure a safe service during a period of insufficient numbers of appropriate staff including vacancies in the numbers of highly trained Emergency Nurse Practitioners who work in the Andover MIU and in our two Emergency Departments in Winchester and Basingstoke. The intention is to return to normal opening hours as soon as possible.
