C2 has been built in partnership with the National Commissioning Group for patients with Pseudomyxoma peritonei.

This purpose-built 16 bedded elective ward has been designed to the highest specifications and modern standards. It will support the complex management and safe delivery of high quality care for patients with Pseudomyxoma, peritoneal malignancy and patients requiring elective surgery.C2 is comprised of the following areas

  • 9 single bedrooms with en-suite facilities
  • 2 single bedrooms with shared bathroom facilities
  • 1 twin high care bedroom with en-suite facilities to accept patients directly from intensive care and where post-operative intraperitoneal chemotherapy can be safetly administered.
  • 3 bedded high care area to accept patients directly from intensive care and where post-operative intraperitoneal chemotherapy can be saftely administered.
