Victoria Ward (Gastroenterology and Endocrinology)

Victoria Ward specialises in caring for patients with gastrointestinal and endocrinology disorders. The ward accommodates both female and male patients in single sex bays, double and single cubicles.

Location
Level C, Brinton Wing, Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester

Directions: Through the main hospital entrance, follow hospital corridor, before the first set of lifts; turn left, signposted Victoria Ward. 

Information for visitors

Visiting hours
10am until 8:30pm – respecting mealtimes

Please contact the ward directly if you wish to visit outside of these hours.

Two visitors per patient. We recommend that children under 8 years old do not visit.

Please discuss on an individual basis with the nurse in charge; we are flexible and sympathetic to family needs.

If you would like to speak with the consultant, relatives are invited to be present during ward rounds. Please contact the Clinical Matron for more information.

All inpatient wards at Hampshire Hospitals have adopted John’s Campaign, which allows the carers of patients with dementia to stay in hospital with their loved ones if they wish.
