Bank staff are an essential part of our workforce. Having experienced nurses and HCAs that we can call upon to fill staff shortfalls is vital to ensuring safe staffing levels on our wards.

Bank shifts give you the opportunity to experience different units and wards and also earn extra money. If you don’t already work at our trust, the Bank is also a good introduction into our hospitals and puts you in a good position if you decide to apply for a job with us.

Bank work is all about choice:

  • Flexible hours
  • Short or long shifts (6, 8 or 12 hour shifts) available 7 days per week
  • Morning, evening or twilight shifts
  • Time off when you need it
