About volunteering

Volunteers Matter

Our Foundation Trust is consistently rated as one of the best for patient care and our volunteer force are a vital component. It is a source of immense pride to us that we have over 600 volunteers not only in the main hospitals but also out in the community. Not a day goes by without someone, whether staff, patients or visitors, benefiting from the selfless generosity of volunteers.

Who volunteers?

Our volunteer force is as diverse as our patients - aged from 17 to whatever, there is no upper age limit!
