We are delighted to share with you our Trust strategy for 2022 – 2028. Our vision remains unchanged – it is to provide outstanding care for every patient.

In talking and listening to our patients, staff, and the public, we have adapted our strategic themes to ensure that they will help us deliver this vision over the next seven years.

The following strategy comes at a time of significant change for the health and care system as it aims to respond to and recover from a global pandemic.

Each year, as part of our commitment to achieving our vision, we create an annual plan setting out the actions we will take to progress our strategic themes. You can find our 2024/25 annual plan here. 

The overarching Trust strategy focusses on several key themes, including outstanding care, sustainability, and innovation, with patients and staff at the forefront.

As a crucial part of how we will provide services for you, the strategy will align with and support the recently developed clinical strategy. Working together, both strategies aim to achieve the trust’s overall vision to deliver outstanding care for every patient underpinned by the Hampshire Hospitals ICARE values.

Our Trust strategy will integrate learnings from the pandemic as part of our aim to ensure that we, as a Trust, are fit for the future – while continuing to put our patients and staff first.
