Andrew Bishop has been a consultant cardiologist and physician at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital since 1999. He is an honorary consultant at the Royal Brompton Hospital.

He trained at Cambridge and St Thomas' Hospital, completing post graduate training at the Royal Brompton Hospital and Hammersmith Hospital.

Dr Bishop sees patients with all forms of heart disease and also practices as a general physician; he has an active angiography and angioplasty practice.

He runs a specialist service for patients with hypertension (high blood pressure).

In addition to patients from the north Hampshire area, he sees patients from elsewhere in the UK and abroad by referral, who have complex cardiac problems often involving other medical conditions.
