I have worked for the Trust for five years and was very pleased to be appointed as substantive Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in October 2014. I am a general Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with Sub Specialty interest in Colposcopy and Gynaecological cancer. Another important part of my role is acute obstetrics and I am one of the new generation of Consultant Obstetricians with resident on call sessions. This model is critical to the development of maternity services in the new CTH. I am a Trustee of the Basingstoke- Hoima Partnership for health and frequent visitor to Hoima Regional referral Hospital where I am engaged in teaching and training. My other interests include medical education at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Hobbies include music and yoga.
