St Cross ward (planned major orthopaedic surgery)

St Cross specialises in planned major orthopaedic surgery. We have an admission bay that receives all pre-surgery patient arrivals to the ward.

The ward has 6 male and 6 female beds in single sex bays. We also have 4  single rooms for our patients whose care requires that they need isolating from the main patients areas. In total the ward compliment is 16 beds.

St Cross ward also has a physiotherapy gym which has a range of equipment to assist orthopaedic patients through the rehabilitation programme
