Tunic: Back length is approx 74 cm

Trousers: Can be made in different waist sizes with a variety of leg lengths, all need a drawstring waist to include one pocket if possible.

Material: 

  • Polycotton
  • Material must weigh 135-145 grams per square metre
  • Able to be washed at 60 degress celsius

Specification for uniform bag

  • Uniform bag should be approximate size of a pillow case.
  • Fabric needs to withstand 60 degree wash.
  • Drawstrings should be made out of cord, cotton tape or material.
  • Finished bags should be washed on a minimum of 60 degrees, pressed and folded. Two bags should then be placed in sealed plastic bags, not re-opened and posted in accordance with Trust instructions.

Delivery:

All items being should be delivered with the following information attached:

  • Name and contact number of person delivering items.
  • Delivery note detailing, quantity of items, size and colour of each item.

Please can you confirm with volunteer services by email, volunteers@hhft.nhs.uk, when you are planning to make a delivery either by post or in person and confirm the number of scrubs in the delivery.  This will help us to coordinate deliveries and make sure the linen room team are ready to recieve.

if you would like to make a direct delivery to the linen department in person the team would prefer deliveries to be made between 10am and 1pm Monday to Friday. this is to help ensure someone is available to recieve the scrubs. If there is a need for an earlier/later delivery please let volunteer services know and the linen department will do thier best to make arrangements.
