Please follow any instructions we have given you about stopping eating, drinking, or taking certain medications before your treatment or procedure.
Please bring:
✓ your admission letter
✓ your Hospital Passport or ‘This is me’ booklet if you have one
✓ the name, address, and phone number of your GP
✓ any medication you usually take, including prescribed inhalers and creams
✓ up-to-date details of your next of kin or emergency contact details
✓ nightwear (and a change), dressing gown and slippers with non-slip soles
✓ comfortable clothes to wear during the day, such as a tracksuit, and a change of underwear
✓ two face towels
✓ toothbrush and toothpaste
✓ if needed – denture pot and cleaner, and denture fixative cream (clearly labelled with your name)
✓ soap and shampoo
✓ hairbrush and/or comb
✓ glasses and/or hearing aids if you normally use them
✓ things to do, such as a book or magazines, a personal music player, mobile phone, or tablet if you have one (must be used with headphones).
Please do not bring:
- valuables, including jewellery or large sums of money
- large items, as you will only have a small bedside cupboard to store your belongings in.
