We're refreshing our Trust strategy and want to hear your views.

In recent months, we have seen a number of challenges and changes within the NHS both nationally and locally here in Hampshire. This includes the recently published Government 10-Year Health Plan, local pressures on our services, our aging population and buildings as well as workforce and financial challenges.

In response to this, we're refreshing our Trust strategy for the next five years. Our Trust strategy will set out our priorities, guide the decisions we make, and help us plan how we will care for the patients who will need us tomorrow, next month and in the years to come.

The 10 Year Health Plan sets a bold direction: delivering care closer to home, embracing digital-first services, and prioritising prevention of health issues. We now need to think carefully about how we can best meet the needs and deliver value for our patients, our colleagues, and our communities whilst making the most of new opportunities this brings.

Whether you're a patient, partner, or member of our wider population, you have valuable insights that can help us get our strategy right. By sharing your ideas, experiences, and feedback, you’ll help shape a strategy that reflects real needs, builds on what matters most to the people we serve, and ensures we are an organisation that is fit for the future.

Have your say

We want to speak to as many people as possible across our communities, including patients, partners, colleagues and members of the public. You can get involved in two ways:

1. Complete the online questionnaire here

The questionnaire will close on Saturday 15 November at midday.

2. Join a member workshop

We’ll be hosting a number of workshops in the coming weeks for our Trust members. Membership is free and you can register to become a Trust member here to ensure you’re the first to hear about these workshops. You can also look out for details on this page coming soon.

What happens next?

All feedback gathered as part of this engagement will be considered, themed and analysed to inform decision-making and priority setting for our organisation.

We will then publish our strategy in the winter and as part of its publication, you will be able to read how your feedback and input has directly shaped the strategy.
