Being a governor will allow me to make sure the Trust is delivering its services in the best way possible. I have found that to achieve our best, working together in partnership is always the most effective method.
I have previous recent experience as a governor for the local Ambulance Service (SCAS) on their Council of Governors. As a trustee of the Hampshire & IoW Air Ambulance I will bring a critical care perspective to the role. My background in engineering gives me a keen focus on improvement and a determination to see how things can be made or done better. With all aspects of health evolving quickly, it is very important to maintain a focus for continual improvement, particularly at the front line of medical care, as well as recovery from the coronavirus pandemic. I have had the privilege to serve the residents of Hampshire since 1995 in a number of capacities, including as a school governor, as a County and Test Valley Borough Councillor. Putting other people first and representing their views and concerns is what I do best.
