Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) is delighted to announce the shortlisted nominees for its 2025 Hampshire Hospitals People Awards!
The Hampshire Hospitals People Awards, which run annually to honour the extraordinary efforts of staff across the Trust’s hospitals in Basingstoke, Winchester and Andover, saw an overwhelming response once again this year, with a record-breaking 833 nominations received.
Members of the public, patients, and Hampshire Hospitals colleagues were invited to nominate a member of staff or team who had made a real difference in one of 13 categories, each designed to celebrate a range of achievements, including innovation, collaboration, patient care and experience, leadership and inclusivity.
Following a shortlisting process earlier this month, the staff members who have been shortlisted can now be revealed, with representation from a range of clinical and non-clinical roles from across the Trust.
Alex Whitfield, chief executive for Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “It is wonderful to see so many colleagues and teams recognised and celebrated through our Hampshire Hospitals People Awards this year. After receiving more than 800 nominations, selecting our award finalists was harder than ever before, with so many incredible stories shared and achievements highlighted from across the Trust.
“Well done to all our nominees and huge congratulations to those recognised as our award finalists this year – we are looking forward to celebrating their brilliant contributions at a special awards ceremony in June.”
