Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) has announced Kieron Galloway will take up the role of chief people officer.
Kieron joined HHFT in 2020 as deputy director of people, before taking on the director role on an interim basis in April 2021. In this new role, he will be joining the executive team and will be a member of the trust board.
Kieron has held numerous HR Leadership roles at large multinational organisations, spanning multiple sectors and regions. His career has seen him work across all disciplines of HR, with expertise in leadership development, change management and coaching.
Alex Whitfield, chief executive at the trust which runs hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester, said: “We are delighted to appoint Kieron to this role. Kieron has already made a big difference since joining the trust, helping to shape our strategy and putting in place a huge range of support for our staff as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.
“Kieron has demonstrated a strong commitment to our values, a passion for empowering teams and helping make HHFT a great place to work. On behalf of the board I wish him all the best in his new role and look forward to working together.”
In a message to staff, Kieron said: “I feel privileged to be taking on this role and to be part of Team HHFT.
