Hear from your local NHS staff at latest Hampshire Hospitals event
Free online event – Tuesday 20 July, 6pm.
Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust (HHFT) is offering the chance to hear from staff on the frontline as they share how they continued to care for patients whilst tackling the challenges of COVID-19 head on, at the trusts Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The free online event is taking place on Tuesday 20 July from 6pm, where the team will reflect on the highlights and challenges of 2020/21, present the trust’s annual accounts and look to the year ahead.
Register by visiting bit.ly/HHFTAGM21 where you will be provided with joining details.
Alex Whitfield, chief executive of Hampshire Hospitals, which runs hospitals in Andover, Basingstoke and Winchester, said: “We will be hosting our annual event online again this year as COVID-19 continues to change how we work, but we hope that you will be able to join us virtually to find out about the amazing things our teams have been doing over the last year, and what we are planning in the year ahead.”
On the night, attendees will hear from a range of staff, including clinical matron Edit Galambos who will share how the team continued cancer care throughout the last year, looking after some of our most vulnerable patients at the height of the pandemic.
Adam Smith, lead mental health nurse for the trust will also be on hand to talk about all things mental health – including the strides the trust has taken to transform the services offered at HHFT.
The event will also include a virtual tour of a brand-new development coming to HFFT this summer.
Other short talks include the steps the trust is taking alongside health and social care partners to advance recovery plans and deliver the best possible care in the wake of the pandemic.
Attendees also have the chance to ask questions directly to the senior team and speakers. If you would like to put forward any questions in advance of the AGM, email email@example.com by Monday 19 July. Questions will also be accepted on the night.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear from some of your local NHS staff as they share their experiences of the last year, and find out more about how Hampshire Hospitals cares for the community.
