Please note, from early September we are anticipating a temporary closure of a 25 metre stetch of the road beneath the AAU bridge at Basingstoke Hospital to allow essential excavation and infrastructure works to take place.
These works will affect traffic exiting the main hospital car park only, where a diversion route will be in place. There will be no impact on clinical services, patient access, or emergency vehicle routes.
We have worked closely with the contractor and Trust colleagues to minimise disruption wherever possible, including scheduling the works to coincide with extended daylight hours.
We are currently finalising the programme of works with the contractor and will confirm the closure start date, expected duration, and any traffic management arrangements as soon as they are available.
