A statement from Hampshire Hospitals following media coverage of a pre-inquest review (maternity).

Julie Dawes, chief nurse at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We are deeply saddened by this tragic loss and on behalf of everyone at Hampshire Hospitals, our heartfelt condolences go out to Lucy’s family.

“We await the findings of an inquest into the events surrounding this tragedy, and as such, it would not be appropriate to comment any further at this time.”
