Batteries
Hearing aid batteries are available for collection (no appointment needed). Please bring your hearing aid fitting booklet to verify you are an NHS hearing aid user and ensure you receive the correct battery type. Batteries can be collected  at the following locations:

  • Basingstoke audiology reception and main reception at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
  • The Discovery Centre, Festival Place, Basingstoke
  • Alton Community Hospital reception
  • Winchester outpatients reception

Tubing and Domes
Tubing collection must be arranged in advance. Please call us on 01962 824437 or email audiology@hhft.nhs.uk with your tubing request and preferred location. We will then advise you when to collect your tubing. Collection points are:

  • Basingstoke Audiology Reception
  • Winchester Outpatients Reception
  • Andover Outpatients Reception (9am-12pm & 2pm-4pm)
  • Eastleigh Health Centre
  • Alton Community Hospital reception

It is recommended that your hearing aid tubing is replaced every six months. Due to increasing costs, we are limiting the amount of tubing supplied per patient. If you find you are needing to replace your tubing more frequently, please contact our department. This may indicate a need for a new fitting or alternative hearing aid solutions.
