Registering for your maternity care

badgernet.jpgIt’s easy to register your for your maternity care at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust without having to go via your GP.

You will need to have your NHS number available to register, but if you don’t know your NHS number, the simplest and quickest way to find it is to visit the NHS website. Your NHS Number will be sent securely to your phone via an SMS text message. Your GP surgery can also provide your NHS Number.

Once you have your NHS number. Click here or click on the Badger Notes logo on this page page and give us as much information as you can about yourself so that we can provide you with the most appropriate care for your pregnancy.

Completing your registration will notify our self-referral team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust who will contact you to arrange your first “booking” appointment with your midwife. We will also contact your GP following your booking to let them know you are pregnant and to ask them if they have any additional information to support your pregnancy care.

If you are unable to complete your registration online, you can call our self-referral team on 07443 987 711. If you need an interpreter for this call, or any of your appointments, we can arrange this for you.

You also need to register for the Badger Notes app as your pregnancy notes will be online for you. Your activation code for the app will be provided for you by the self-referral team when they contact you to arrange your first appointment.
This can also be done via the BadgerNotes website.

If you are unable to log in after the self-referral team have contacted you, you can contact the HHFT Digital Maternity team by emailing digitalmaternity@hhft.nhs.uk
