The Oral and Facial Surgery and Orthodontic Laboratory provides a high quality specialised service to Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. 

The Dental Laboratory also undertakes income generation on behalf of the Trust by providing appliances for Hospitals, Specialist Practices and General Dental Practices.

The laboratory is registered with The Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency to manufacture custom made medical devices.  The team has considerable experience in the manufacture of a wide range of fixed and removal devices.

  • Orthodontic Study models
  • Orthodontic retainers
  • Par scoring
  • Sports mouth guards
  • Orthognathic surgery model planning including positioning splints
  • Surgical planning using OPAL
  • Surgical cover plates
  • Surgical splints
  • Complex dentures including palatal obturators
  • Sleep apnoea devices
