Additional Information
Dr Ashton studied medicine at Edinburgh University Medical School. He undertook post-graduate training in general internal medicine at St Thomas’ Hospital and University Hospital Lewisham. Dr Ashton’s postgraduate training in anaesthesia began at the London Central School of Anaesthesia and was completed in Oxford. He achieved advanced training in intensive care medicine at units in Southampton General Hospital and Queen Alexandra Hospital Portsmouth. Dr Ashton holds specialist registration in both Intensive Care Medicine and Anaesthesia.
