Qualifications and career

2005 - Qualified with first class honours from Guy's, Kings and St Thomas' School of Medicine, London,

Trained as an Orthopaedic Registrar in the Wessex Deanary

2014-15 - Completed a one-year international lower limb arthroplasty and lower limb adult reconstruction fellowship in Perth, Australia

2015 - Qualified as a consultant and appointed as specialist hip fellow at Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital

2016 - Completed an AO Trauma fellowship at Denver Health Level 1 Trauma Centre, Colorado, USA

2016 - Appointed as substantive Trauma and Orthopaedic consultant at Hampshire Hospitals

 

Additional information

Experienced in complex pelvic and acetabular reconstructive surgery, as well as young adult hip surgery including hip arthroscopy.

Regularly involved in the training of junior doctors and orthopaedic registrars

Has presented research findings at a variety of both national and international meetings

Lectured at both the University of Southampton and at the University of Western Australia.
