Experience:

I have more than 20 years of NHS experience and have been a Respiratory Consultant at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since 2016.  I am currently the clinical lead for the Respiratory department at Royal Hampshire County Hospital and sub-specialty leads for pleural disease, bronchiectasis and sleep disordered breathing.  I am skilled in respiratory diagnostic including medical thoracoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, bronchoscopy and thoracic ultrasound.

I hold the position of clinical director for medicines optimisation.  I am a Medical Examiner for the Trust.

I am committed to medical education and served as the Royal College Tutor at Royal Hampshire County Hospital from 2017 to 2020, as well as the regional RCP new consultant committee representative from 2020 to 2023.  I continue to support the training needs of a number of resident doctors.

I have a strong background in research and completed my medical doctorate on malignant pleural disease in 2018.
