Dr Gunatilake graduated from the University of Southampton in 2005. He was awarded his MRCP(UK) in 2008. He achieved his specialty certificate examination in respiratory medicine in 2010 and was awarded his CCT in respiratory and general medicine in 2016. He successfully completed his Medical doctorate from the University of Portsmouth in 2018.
Experience
Dr Gunatilake joined Hampshire Hospitals Foundation Trust (HHFT) as a consultant physician in September 2016. He provides consultant led care to respiratory inpatients and outpatients.
Research
Dr Gunatilake's main research interests are pleural disease and malignant pleural mesothelioma.
