Dr James Kerr was awarded MB BS from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne in 2001 and subsequently an MBA from Durham Business School in 2010. He has a passion for clinical leadership in medicine, free open access medical education and training through medical simulation.
An energetic proponent of quality improvement, Dr Kerr has trained in improvement strategies and believes that staff wellbeing is paramount to provide quality care and performance.
Dr Kerr is co-lead for major incidents within the department and trains teams regularly with in-situ simulation.
