Dr Wojtek Rakowicz was born and educated in London. He studied Medicine at King’s College London and undertook postgraduate training in Norwich, Cambridge and at the National Hospital for Neurology & Neurosurgery, Queen Square, London.
His Cambridge PhD in motor neurone disease also took him to Washington University School of Medicine, St Louis MO, USA where he completed a Neuromuscular Clinical Fellowship before returning home.
From 2003-2013 he held a joint consultant appointment at Charing Cross Hospital (Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) and The Hillingdon Hospital in West London.
