Mr Simpson joined the trust in August 2017 having completed his training in the Wessex region; with advanced training in advanced labour ward practice, general gynaecology surgery and colposcopy. He graduated in 2006 from the University of Warwick, having previously obtained a Masters in Biomedical Sciences from Southampton University.
Within the trust Mr Simpson runs weekly high risk antenatal clinics for women with known medical conditions; as well as fortnightly specialist joint diabetic and haematology clinics. He is the trust lead for HIV and hepatitis in pregnancy.
Mr Simpson also undertakes regular general gynaecology clinics as well as rapid access gynaecology assessment clinics and colposcopy for women with suspected gynaecological cancers.
