Ms Rosie Stanton, Consultant breast and reconstructive surgeon
I am a consultant breast cancer and breast reconstruction surgeon. I trained in the Oxford deanery and moved to Nottingham for one year in 2017 to complete my breast training fellowship. This allowed me to train with both plastic surgeons and breast cancer surgeons at the same time.
I have a particular interest in the use of breast conserving surgery, day case surgery and patient initiated follow-up. I write to my patients directly, not about them. I sit on the Wessex deanery training panel to help with regional registrar training.
Our breast unit is a dynamic and forward-looking organisation. I feel very proud to be part of that.
