Training and education: 

Dr Turner studied medicine at the University of Cambridge. He completed basic surgical training in the East of England and then undertook dual specialist training in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine across the Wessex region. He was appointed as a consultant in Basingstoke in 2025. He also holds a Postgraduate Diploma in Remote Healthcare (with Distinction) from the University of Plymouth.

Experience:

Dr Turner is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists, Fellow of the Faculty of Intensive Care Medicine, Member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society. He is also a member of the Intensive Care Society and the Association of Anaesthetists.
