2024 to date CSL-Behring: Randomised Phase 3 Single centre non inferiority study comparing RIASTAP (Human Fibrinogen Concentrate) with cryoprecipitate for the treatment of acquired fibrinogen deficiency.
HIPEC-PMP trial (opened December 2024 with £1.16 million funding) leading the first UK Randomised controlled trial evaluating Mitomycin C (MMC) dosing during Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy following cytoreductive surgery for pseudomyxoma peritonei. In partnership with Southampton Clinical Trials Unit.
Principle Investigator for HHFT:
PICOSS. A UK wide, phase II randomised control trial coordinated by Cardiff University, looking at the use of Pressurised intraperitoneal chemotherapy in patients not suitable for CRS and HIPEC in patients with ovarian, colon and stomach Cancer. HHFT will participate in the colorectal arm of PICOSS.
