Experience:

I have been a Consultant in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care Medicine, with a special interest in Paediatric Anaesthesia since 2006, initially at Frenchay Hospital in Bristol, and since 2007 at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital.  I lead the GA MRI service and after being Clinical Lead of Intensive Care in Winchester for over 9 years, I took over as the Medical Lead for the Adult Critical Care Network for Thames Valley and Wessex.  I am also the appointed representative for the South-East of England on the Adult Critical Care Clinical Reference Group.

Since December 2025 I have been the Director of Medical Education for HHFT.

Research:

I have supported many clinical trials and am currently the local Principal Investigator for the T4P Study exploring the threshold for platelet transfusion in low-risk critical care procedures.
