This pilot is currently only live for a small amount of specialties. Please refer to the list below to see if the service you are receiving treatment with is part of the pilot.

We’re excited to share that we’ve launched a new, streamlined appointment booking process designed with your convenience in mind.  Choose from a variety of appointment times that fit your schedule. Receive immediate confirmation of your appointment.

 

What's New
  • Our Automated Calling system will call to invite you to book an appointment
  • Verification to identify the caller will be required
  • Once verification has taken place you will then be able to accept the offer to book an appointment
  • You will then be transferred to a member of the appointment booking team to organise an appointment

 

Services using this booking process
  • Gynaecology

Until we are live across all specialties, most patients will continue to receive appointment details through text, letter and other means whilst others will be invited to book using this new process.

 

Why are we doing this?

This new process gives you, the patient, the control to choose an appointment time that works for you. 

    • It gives us the ability to capture any accessibility, transport or interpretation needs to ensure you have a safe visit
    • Reduces miscommunication and confusion
    • It helps the trust to reduce no-shows and use more clinic slots which ultimaltey reduces patient waiting times
    • Reduce areas of manual tasks carried out by our Admin teams
