For example, you might want to wait in a room on your own or need information in Easy Read.
The hospital liaison team will do their best to attend the appointment with you, if you want them to. Your carer or someone else you trust can come with you too.
In case you need to wait to see the doctor or nurse, bring something with you to read or to do.
