Gynaecological cancers

We treat women with suspected or diagnosed gynaecological cancer. Women are cared for by a multidisciplinary team of experts including gynaecological surgeons, oncologists (specialists in radiotherapy and chemotherapy) clinical nurse specialists and cancer support workers.

Gynaecological cancer includes ovarian, cervical, endometrial, vaginal and vulval tumours.  Here at Hampshire Hospitals we aim to provide a timely diagnostic service and offer some treatments locally.

Management of gynaecological cancer requires a multidiscliplinary approach and Hampshire Hospitals work closely with University Hospitals Southampton (UHS), our cancer centre, meaning some treatments are offered at UHS.
