Experience:
I have been a consultant in Basingstoke since 2004.
My prime interests are in the management of liver disease, particularly viral and autoimmune hepatitis. I have also been a bowel cancer screening colonoscopist since 2008.
I have recently stepped back from my lead role in upper GI cancer after 22 years. I have lead both the gastroenterology and endoscopy services over my career for many years, but have currently stepped back from leadership roles to focus more on service delivery and optimising use of resource.
I am a member of the Medical Staff Committee.
I am involved in medical education as a supervisor, and I mentor the newer colleagues in the department.
I am a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, and a member of the British Society of Gastroenterology and the British Association for the Study of the liver.
