We aim to provide high quality care to anybody requiring investigation or having treatment of a cancer.

This involves an experienced multi-disciplinary team facilitating a timely diagnosis and decision making on treatment. Our team provides evidence based anti-cancer treatments in form of chemotherapy and radiotherapy as well as specialist palliative care and psychological support. We aim to provide support and information to the patients and their family. We also actively support the improvement of cancer care by encouraging research.

Cancer services provide care across all HHFT sites:

  • Andover War Memorial Hospital
  • Basingstoke and North Hampshire Hospital
  • Royal Hampshire County Hospital, Winchester.

We also have strong links with University Hospital Southampton, the regional cancer centre.

We have cancer units and clinics across all Hampshire Hospitals sites.

Day case treatment will be carried out by our Rainbow Unit.

The Rainbow Unit in Basingstoke is located within The Firs. The Rainbow Unit in Winchester is located in the Nick Jonas Unit.

We also have an inpatient haematology ward in Basingstoke.
