Our outpatient clinics are held across all three hospitals and we accept referrals from GPs and hospital doctors.
You may be seen by any one the seven consultants or a doctor in training (under supervision). For initial diagnosis and treatment patients are initially seen in either Winchester or Basingstoke but for subsequent follow up, Alton or Andover Hospitals visits may be offered.
A phlebotomy service is provided at Basingstoke, Winchester and in Andover hospitals.
Specialist bleeding disorder care is provided by a separate team in the haemophilia centre. This is based at Basingstoke hospital.
The laboratories at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Trust processes thousands of samples per year.
These include antenatal blood tests, grouping of blood and tests ordered by GPs and hospital doctors. We also send off a range of more complex tests to other specialist laboratories.
